Reshuffle will continue building a great developer experience at Twitter

TL;DR: We are joining Twitter! I joined Reshuffle (Binaris Inc at that time) 18 months ago as a co-founder. It has been an amazing experience, and I can’t wait to see what we do next as part of Twitter!

About two years ago, Avner and I sat at Bill’s cafe in Palo Alto CA, two minutes from my house, and I was creating a mock design on a piece of napkin. It was for an interface that will radically simplify developer experience for enterprise integrations:

The company and product went through a few pivots and changes, as startups always do. But Reshuffle has always been about empowering developers. We were all about reducing the friction of integration to common APIs you use on a daily basis, building examples and scaffolding for common developer use cases, and making it all easily accessible through open source and a standard set of interfaces. The results looked much better than our original napkin drawing:

We worked with many clients and partners, some fortune 500, others individual developers. Twitter has been a great partner to us since we started Reshuffle, and shares our passion and excitement of driving value to developers through a set of useful APIs, and a simple and intuitive developer experience.

Together with Nimo, our New Zealander head of engineering, we built an amazing team of collaborative, productive, straight shooters, a no politics kind of gang. We built a fantastic product that customers loved and were willing to pay a lot for. We built partnerships with great companies along the way. We are super excited about what is coming next!

While we’ll be winding down our commercial product, Reshuffle will remain open source forever. We’re committed to maintaining it as good citizens of the open source community.

Our efforts at Twitter will be to double down on its developer experience and continue to provide value to you as developers!

Yours,

Amir and the Reshuffle team :)

CPO and co-founder of Reshuffle.com
